Fire broke out at the wee hours of the morning. 4 homes in Taman Ipoh Jaya were badly affected. Luckily no lives were lost and no one was seriously injured.
Menteri Besar Perak, Dato' Seri Ir Nizar Jamaluddin came around 12.30 noon to visit and handed out emergency aid to these victims.
I thank the various department, Jabatan Bomba, Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat, Balai Polis Kampung Rapat, Tenaga Nasional Berhad and Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh for their help in easing the plight of the victims. Also the residence nearby for their compassion.
To the victims, I pray that they will have the strength to carry on and I will do my best to help them rebuild their lives.
